Environment enhancements
Introduction
On DaRO, to be able to play in a more realistic world, we made some changes about visual effects in towns.
We all know that Ragnarok Online doesn't support Zoom Out Fog.
Players usually have to desactivate the fog and it is such a shame because when it's well calculated, the fog makes the game so realistic and definitely more pleasant to play.
Without fog, the game appears a bit fake.
Ragnarok Online official doesn't allow to zoom out, the view is restricted on the official game and that's why they made the fog as it appears on zoom in, which makes it impossible to see on zoom out.
Mystic Project has been reviewing carefully each map and adapting the best fog possible. If you notice some possible upgrade, please report it to a Guard.
Street Lights
One of these modifications is the light effect on street lights during night time.
Weather Changes
On DaRO, every hour, there is a chance that the weather is going to change depending on the area.
You will be able to admire five differents weather type.
- There is a list of all possibility with visual example :
Snow, Leaves, Sakura, Fog, Clouds can appear in Midgard North, Midgard South, Arunafeltz, Sograt's Desert, etc...
