Monster Laboratory

This guide comes from the old wiki and is being reviewed; some details may be out of date. The Codex always shows the current game data.

Introduction

Monster Laboratory

The Monster Laboratory is the same concept as Ragnarok Mobile. The player creates a map party (instance) depending on the level. There are no maximum level required, but only minimum level. It means a player level 60 will be able to participate a MP Lv 40~65 or 1~40 but can't participate above Lv 60 (65~75 etc).

  • Once the party is created, this map party is registered as "open". Anyone can talk to the NPC and once joined, the player will be automatically placed in the party. In order words, this is not a private party, it's open to anyone who wants to participate.
  • The minimum amount of players required to start the map party is 4. Once the party reaches 4 players, a timer will be placed above each person present in the group. This timer will count down from 15 to 1, then the party starts, everyone will be warped to the instance.
  • The maximum participation is 3 per day. This can be considered as a Daily Task. This system is practical for those who don't have much time to play, they can connect, and finish 3 map party which grant a great amount of EXP, plus you gotta play with other people !
  • The Monster Laboratory NPC is located in Midgard and the Map Parties are currently open at any time.

Map party

A Map Party lasts 10 minutes. Each map party will have 600 monsters. A wave of monsters varies from 40 to 100 depending on the map party level. Each monster has to be defeated in order to launch the next wave. There are between 6 and 15 waves per Map Party. At the end of the party, everyone gets rewards. Each wave, monsters have their HP increased by 10%.

The monsters don't have the same power as the regular ones, their power is depending on the level of the map party, +1 level per wave.

There will be timer of 10 minutes (counting down to 0). There are no drops and no EXP during the party, all rewards are given at the end.
