 The success rate of stealing items is affected by the skill level of the Thief skill, Steal.

 Steals zeny from monsters. Its success rate rises as the skill evel is increased. Zeny can only be stolen once from each monster, and using this skill will draw the target monster's aggression.

 Back Stab Info.gif
 Back Stab is only usable when the caster is facing the enemy's rear. This skill never misses its target, but the target will face the user after it is hit for SkillLvl 6 or higher.
 When used with a Bow, this skill's damage is reduced. Back Stab can be used when in Hiding status, but it will cancel Hiding.

 This skill's success rate is affected by the level difference between caster and target. Boss monsters are unaffected by Intimidate.

 If enemy is using a Sword Class Weapon, activating this skill can deflect attacks, reducing damage from Swords by half for 300 seconds.

 On monsters, the damage that is deflected will be directed back at the monster.
  Works on all weapons but with halved rates.
 If active when hit by a sword or a dagger, success rate is still 75% and you still can have the bonus thanks to the Kugan.
 If active when hit by any other weapon, success rate is halved : (Base SuccessRate + Kugan Bonus) /2 [It will be divided only if the ennemy use another weapon than a Sword or a Dagger]

Basic mastery.png Advanced Thievery Mastery:

 This Advanced Skill Mastery improves the use of the following skills:
 Hiding, Back Sliding, Sprinkle Sand, Throw Stone, Pick Stone, Chase Walk.
 Also for Assassin Cross: Enchant Deadly Poison.
 Improved skills receives the following effects:
 - Casting time reduced by 25% (do not stack with Bragi)
 - After skill delay reduced by 25% (do not stack with Bragi)
 - Cooldown reduced by 25%
 - SP consumption reduced by 25%
 - Effects duration increased by 50%
 - Common status have 15% better chance and duration
 - Materials requirements have 20% chance to be ignored
 Also those damage skills receives the following effects:
 - Sprinkle Sand: Damage increased by 50% on targets not affected by Blind
 - Throw Stone: Damage increased by 50% on targets not affected by Stun
 Also those non damage skills receives the following effects:
 - Back Sliding: Grant Swift for a very short time after the user of the skill (0.2s per level)
 - Pick Stone: Pick 3 stones at once
 - Enhanced Deadly Poison: Increased bonus (original effect 50% per skill level)
 - Chase Walk: Can avoid up to 5 attacks when activated.
 - Hiding: The avoidness granted by Hiding is 5% per level above 6 instead (up to 25% at level 10)

 - SP consumption reduced by 25%
 - Effects duration increased by 50%
 - Common status have 15% better chance and duration
 - Materials requirements have 20% chance to be ignored
 Also those damage skills receives the following effects:
 - Backstab: Damage increased by 25%, also increased by 25% if user have the initiative
 - Raid: Damage increased by 50% if target is not affected by blind or stun yet, also increased by 50% if user have the initiative
 - Sprinkle Sand: Doubles the chance to inflict Blind if the user has initiative. Ignore 50% DEF.
 - Throw Stone: Doubles the chance to inflict Blind or Stun if the user has initiative. Ignore 50% DEF.
 Also those damage skills receives the following effects:
 - Hiding: Increase FLEE by 3 and PFLEE by 1 per level while active. The avoidness granted by Hiding is 5% per level above 6 instead (up to 25% at level 10). Hiding can be used while chase walking.
 - Chase Walk: Double attibutes bonus, can be used while hidden.

 - Double Straff: Damage increased by 30% minus 3% for every cells between the user and the target
 - Envenom: Damage increased by 100% if target is not affected by poison yet
 - Intimidiate: Damage increased by 50%, also increased by 50% if target is affected by one of the strip (or more than one)
 Also those damage skills receives the following effects:
 - Reject Sword: Activations count increased by 2
 - Preserve: Character is undispellable while active
