Introduction
The Trial of Babel has been around for 15 years. It has changed 4 times from Mystic RO to Realm RO, GaRO, and then DGRO.
We've made a fifth version that is now playable with a team of 2 to 5 players. However, you still can complete the challenge alone !
The trial takes place at Babel's Tower, located in the height of Rivendel Town.
- During the Trial of Babel, you can choose one of these two game modes : Ascension or Descension.
- The Ascension has 101 floors.
- The Descension is endless, once Babel is defeated at floor -101, you can keep going until you or your team is defeated.
- → Concerning the Multiplayer Mode, the total of points gained and the total of monsters appearing at each floor vary. Also, the level of monsters will vary depending of the size of the team.
Concretely, each additional player in the team will improve the amount of monsters per floor by 50% and Monsters' Level by 5%.
- You can enter in the Trial of Babel only once each 24 hours and the cooldown will begin as soon as you started the Trial.
- This cooldown concerns the account you used to enter the trial and will affect all kind of trials, Ascension, Descension, Solo or Team.
Since it's easier to play as a team, earned points will be reduced by 5% per additional player. Up to 25% with a five-players party.
At the entrance you can choose a difficulty level for your trial.
Take note that each new floor will be harder than the previous one.
The first time you want to complete Babel's Tower, you will only be able to complete Normal difficulty.
However, if you succeed the completion of the trial, you will unlock higher difficulty levels.
- → You can choose an optionnal feature that selects 2 random races. If you do so, you will only meet Monsters of these races during your journey.

Inside the tower...
- Each 5 floors, you will have to make a choice between :
- Skip an entire floor
- Be Full Healed
- Receive a Babel's Benediction which grant you some bonus.
You and your team will have ten seconds to decide which one you want. If any of you choose to skip, all the team will skip the whole next floor. However, you will not receive any points from the skipped area.
Take note that you must complete each floor within 5 minutes, if not, the game is over.
After 2 minutes in the same area, the passive regeneration of HP & SP is reduced to 0.
This debuff will be reset at the end of each floor.
- → You will meet bosses each fith floor throughout the Trial except at the 101th floor, since this one contains the MvP "Babel".
Regardless you decided the Ascension or the Descension, by killing Babel, a special Chest will appear and give you a lot of decent rewards. Good luck !

How to earn points ?
- During Ascension & Descension, you will get points thanks to several achievements :
- Each floor successfully completed grants 1 point.
- By killing a MvP, you will get 5 points, more exactly, 1 point per 20% HP lost by the Boss.
- If you end up killed by a MvP, you will get 1 point per 20% HP lost by this MvP, same result if you decide to skip the floor.
→ Take note that during Descension, there are an unlimited number of floors. That means you will meet MvPs each 10th floor, until you die or leave the Tower.

|
The Stardust Collector NPC is located in Babel entrance. Talk to him with items in your inventory to exchange them for points.
Enchant System
These Enchants are called inscriptions. You can enchant any of your Weapon with an Inscription engraved in it.
The process can't break your Weapon and you will always get a level 1 inscription.
The NPC located at the basement of Babel allows you to enchant or upgrade your inscription engraved in the equipped weapon in exchange of Babel Points and Stardust.
- There are 3 ways to get an inscription:
- For 25 Babel Points, you can roll a random inscription. Rerolling an inscription will erase the previous one.
- You can define a favorite list (see under for more informations)
- For 500 Babel Points and 100 Stardust, you can choose your inscription.
There is an example of an enchanted Weapon with a Surt Inscription Level 10 engraved in it :
Take note that you can't put Babel Inscriptions on weapons handled in the left-hand.
This Babel's Inscription fills the 4th slot of your Weapon, if you have a 4 Slots Weapon, it will erase the slotted card in it.

Favorites List
- You can set up a particular list mentionning 5 preferred Inscriptions by talking to Gabriel.
- Once the list is updated, you can choose to enchant your weapon. The system will make several rolls in order to generate your inscription and your favorites list will have higher chance to be chosen !
- There is no guaranteed chance to get an Inscription in the list, but you will have increased chances to get it.
