Introduction

At the creation of the character, DARO allows you to choose a Zodiac Sign. It's up to you to make the most of them and create a character that suits you or to enhance a build!


How to use it?

Each Zodiac Sign has different effects, and is a usable Skill. It doesn't cost SP, but LP (Limit Points).
Limit Points can be viewed in the Skills windows, under the Zodiac Skill. LP is a system exclusive to DARO and are generated as follows:

  • Each physical attack grants 1 LP
  • Each Skill grants 2 LP

Gemini (Kind) 15 LP 2 seconds N/A 10s Switches with another set of attributes (memorized at the reset npc) (permanent, reused for switching back)
Gemini (Mad) 15 LP 2 seconds 30s 30s Grants random bonuses and penalties in all attributes, values can go up to 20% of base level
Cancer 15 LP 2 seconds 30s 30s Next attack grants a garanted random common status (can't be resisted but duration is the minimum), adds 2% chance to provoke each common state on attacks or defense, common status last 50% longer (whether from this effect or not), adds 5% damage per common status on targets
Leo 15 LP 2 seconds 30s 30s Damage received and inflicted is increased by 20%, also create a damage pool that can double Damage and inflict a total of 200% of maximum ATK + maximum MATK
Virgo 15 LP 2 seconds 15s 30s Ignores all costs (SP, HP, ammo, spheres, gems, zenys, whatever), also ignore weapon requirements
Libra 15 LP 2 seconds 30s 30s For each attack received there is a 20% chance of a counter damage and / or a heal based on 200% of minimum ATK and MATK for damage (double on monsters) and 100% of them for heal, the lower the HP and the more these values are increased, the more the opponent has HP remaining and more these values are increased, the firsts hits recieved after activation always activate more often (with degressive rates)
Scorpio 10 LP 0 7s 7s Increases chance to deal a critical strike by 10 plus 10%
Sagittarius 10 LP 0 7s 7s Removes all rooting effects, then ignore walking speed penalties and grants a haste bonus of 20% (affect walking speed, aspd, casting time, after skill delay and after hit delay)
Capricorn 15 LP 2 seconds 30s 5s Grants 100% to avoid common status, those chance are reduced every time a common status is avoided this way
Aquarius 15 LP 2 seconds 30s 30s Heals all negative statuses (not just common ones), grants an HP regeneration (1% HP/seconds, better as HP are lows, up to 2%), then reduced chance of contracting a common status by half
Pisces 10 LP 2 seconds 15s 15s Forms 50% chance to ignore next attack, effect lasts as long as an attack is not ignored, then grants 10% chance to avoid any attacks
