Benedictions System

Introduction

Benedictions feature has been one of the greatest success of the Mystic Project. In fact, some players were farming only to provoke one of the benedictions. It can occur every time a monster dies.


Benedictions appearance rate is set to 2%, which means each time a monster die, there is a 2% chance to spawn a benediction, regardless of the type.


If you kill a monster using DoTs damage, Items will not be autolooted and Benedictions will never appear if you aren't in a range of 36 cells away from the monster.
36 cells means approximatively 2 screens.

Mini-Boss
Any monster killed has a chance to make a boss version of itself spawned on each map.

If you track and kill this boss, there will be chances to get Card Shards, which are tradable to get an Old Card Album.
You can also get Bronze Coins, Old Violet Boxes, some Yggdrasil Seeds and Light White or Blue potions.

Treasure Chest
A Treasure Chest giving a decent amount of money depending of its level.

Charming Witch
This sage on a broom walks randomly until a player approaches. She will walk towards the player and disappear after dropping some gemstones powders and even gemstones boxes if you are lucky enough !

Lucky Poring
These cute Porings can be Common, Uncommon, Rare or Very Rare.

The difference between them is the chance to get a rarer item or not by killing it.
If a Poring shall spawn, you have 50% chance to meet a Common, 30% to meet an Uncommon, 15% for a Rare one and only 5% for a Very Rare. Upon death, they will give a Map Item. However, options obtained through the Map Items and Benediction System can receive higher bonuses than options obtained thanks to the NPC in Midgard. See Quality System for more informations.

Altars of Blessing
An Altar of Blessing can appear randomly on the map.

These altars can give 6 different bonus, depending of the Altar of Blessing spawned.

  • Altar of Wisdom grants 50% more experience point upon a monster kill.
  • Altar of Youth boosts your Natural SP regeneration by 100%.
  • Altar of Combat boosts all damage dealt by 20%.
  • Altar of Defense reduces damage received by 30%.
  • Altar of Hope improves all your statistics by adding a bonus of +10 to all stats.
  • Altar of Greed increases zenys obtained upon a monster kill by 100%, also increase drop rate by 30%.

Charity System - Benediction for all

Benediction for the whole server can occur when a player is generous to give a Token of Charity (cash item) to a Guard Event and 500x 1 "etc" item. This last one can activate a chosen event benediction for the whole server so everyone can benefit it. Only a guard event can activate this event (via script, it checks that the guard event has all necessary items to launch the event and then item are being deleted). The effect appears as an icon on the right-side of the screen, will be updated if disconnect/reconnect and will be lost when the event ends. If someone connects after 1h that the event took place, this person will still benefit 1h left.

The "etc" item can be witched starsand, moth dust, etc... A simple item to farm.
